Elise,
Tonight, just a few minutes after I tucked you in bed, you came out and said, "mommy, I don't need anything, but there's a monster in my closet." I asked you to show me the monster in your closet and you took me in your room and pointed to your closet and go "see that block monster in there." I looked and I said, "that is just daddy's coat." And you said, "oh, well why did daddy put his coat in my closet?!" I said "because he has no where else to put it." You said, "oh." I could tell you weren't completely comfortable with what I told you the monster was, so I shut your closet door to make you feel better. Then you went back to bed and fell fast aslepp. hahahahah oh Elise, you crack me up! I love you!

Camping with Friends

Elise, we got to go camping with mommy and daddy's friends Royce and Mandy. You had tons of fun playing with their little girls, Candance, and Marquessa, and also their dog Johny.

I'm sorry, mommy hasn't updated this blog in a while, but I'm going to backtrack now.
The Fourth of July:
You had fun at the Fourth of July. We went to a parade, and you loved it. Your favorite part about it was seeing the princesses. And of course the candy! Then you also stuck some pine needles on daddy's head, and said, daddy was an alien. It was so funny. Then later that night we watched fireworks. You said you were scared of the, but I think you were just being silly. But you did hide underneath the blanket to hide from them. lol

Third Birthday!

Elise,
You had a great 3rd Birthday Party!
We invited your friends over for cake and icecream. You insisted that you wanted a strawberry cake for your birthday, so we made you one, but then we also made a chocolate one for your friends, and instead of eating the strawberry one that you wanted so badly, you ate the chocolate one. lol. After eating cake and icecream, you opened your presents. You got a wedding barbie, and 2 Dora books from mom and dad, you got a colorbook and paint pens and bubbles from Nathan, makeup from Joy and Demi, and you got Johnson's buddies soap, chapstick, and pretty flower hair clips from Sharp. After opening presents, all of you had a great time just playing outside. You all decided to fill up a pool and play in it. Then you guys decided to play in the mud--you were all a muddy mess in the end, but you all had great fun!

Camping!

Elise
You went camping for the first time the other day. I'm not sure if you liked it or not, but you seemed to have fun. You loved playing in the tent and going for a little walk, and you also really enjoyed feeding the chipmunks. On the way to our camping spot we stopped and got some square icecream (thanks Grandpa Turtle for the yummy treat!). :)
